Pastoral Care

Our Pastoral Care Team oversees practical care, visits, contact during illness or hospitalisation for those in our close and wider Church community. We are also working to initiate pastoral care relationships as a focus of our programs, groups and activities!! We continue to stay in contact with those ‘shut-in’ or no longer able to visit the Church regularly!!

“Pastoral Care is the faithful ministry of a religious community to the needs of people in face-to-face relationships.

This ministry comes from a genuine concern for each person, caring about (them) as a person of unique worth and caring as a mutual responsibility “
(Paul Johnson, A Theology of Pastoral Care)
