Communion (Lord's Supper) is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of the month!!

On Sunday's this year we will continue to include contemporary activity, story and participation for people of all ages while at the same time exploring new possibilities for an all age/family oriented gathering at a yet to be determined time and day!! Stay tuned!! All are welcome!! We mix well known Hymns/Songs with new ones!! Worship is a weekly celebration of our participation in God's mission in the world, where we gather to 'hear God's Word', to reflect on Scripture and be encouraged in our discipleship (following) of Jesus, the primary task of every Christian!!

“Remembrance”

“Remembrance” at 9.30am Sunday 11th November 2018 we held a special worship commemorating 100 years since the end of WW1. There  will be many community events planned but this worship service reflected on peace, conflict, lament and prayer for lives effected by such global conflicts!! The words, music and reflections reverently invited prayer, thanksgiving and remembering. This included display of local student Rachel Newman’s “Ruffles of Remembrance.” We heard a snippet of “The Diggers Requiem” and finished with 11 bells and silence…

Church and Community

God’s mission in the world is the reconciliation and renewal of the whole of creation. The church is a community of followers of Jesus in one place, exploring how they are invited to participate in God’s mission. Attributed to many different writers is the catchphrase “It is not the church of God that has a mission in the world but the God of mission who has a church in the world.”
